The Investment Gallery
The Investment Gallery of the Vocational Faculty of North Sumatra University is a learning center that provides insight and practical experience in the world of investment and capital markets. Designed to educate students about various investment instruments, market analysis, and trading strategies, the gallery facilitates access to an investment simulation platform, allowing students to practice managing portfolios and making investment decisions in a safe environment. Apart from functioning as a place for research and development, the Investment Gallery also supports collaboration between students, lecturers and practitioners in the financial sector. With a practical and educational approach, the Investment Gallery aims to produce graduates who have the in-depth knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the investment and finance industry.
Vocational of Faculty Hall
The hall is one of the main facilities used for various academic and non-academic activities. This hall has a large space, so it can accommodate many participants at one event. Facilities in the hall include a main stage, good lighting system, air conditioning (AC), as well as audiovisual equipment such as projectors, screens and sound systems that support the smooth running of the event. This hall is often used for activities such as seminars, workshops, open exams, as well as official faculty events such as inaugurations and academic meetings. With a comfortable design and complete facilities, the USU Vocational Faculty Hall is an ideal place to support various academic activities and student organizations, creating a conducive and dynamic learning environment for the entire academic community.
Aplikasi Satu Atap (ASA)
One-Stop Application (ASA) is an administrative service provided by the Vocational Faculty of North Sumatra University (USU) to make it easier for students to access various academic and administrative services. In this room, there are administrative staff who are ready to help students in the process of filling out forms, checking documents, and providing information regarding the procedures that must be followed. This facility is also equipped with a service desk and comfortable waiting chairs. This service aims to ensure that all students have convenience in the administration process at the USU Vocational Faculty.
Pendopo
Pendopo is an open area designed as a place to gather, discuss, and relax for students, lecturers, and academic staff. This building has a distinctive design with a wide roof without walls, providing a cool and comfortable atmosphere for various activities. Pendopo is often used as a place for informal meetings, group discussions, student organization activities. With its strategic location and comfortable atmosphere, pendopo is one of the favorite facilities for students to study outside the classroom, rest, or have interactive discussions. In addition to being a gathering place, pendopo is also an area that supports academic and social activities at the USU Faculty of Vocational Studies. The existence of pendopo reflects the campus' commitment to creating an inclusive environment and supporting interaction between academics in a more open and dynamic manner.
Wall Magazine
Wall Magazine is a means of information used to convey various announcements, academic news, and other important information. In addition, the wall magazine is also often used as a communication medium for student organizations to announce campus activities or events. With an attractive design and content that is always updated, this wall magazine functions as an information center that supports openness and accessibility of news in the faculty environment. The existence of this wall magazine reflects the faculty's commitment to providing effective and easily accessible communication media for all students and educators.

The parking area is a designated space provided specifically for the vehicles of students, lecturers, and academic staff. With this parking facility, the Faculty of Vocational Education at USU strives to provide a well-organized, safe, and comfortable campus environment for all members of the academic community who use private vehicles. This facility also supports smooth mobility within the faculty and contributes to a more organized campus atmosphere.

Mini Bank Laboratory
The Mini Bank Laboratory was established to become a modern and leading learning center in banking simulation, which integrates the latest technology and real practice to produce a generation that is competent, innovative and ready to face global industry challenges. With a theory and practice-based approach, the Mini Bank Laboratory is committed to supporting the development of technical competencies, soft skills, as well as encouraging innovation and superior research in the fields of Banking and Finance, making it a center for developing quality human resources in the digital era.
Mini Office Laboratory
The Mini Office Laboratory is a practice-based learning center to support the development of professional skills in the field of office administration and accounting in a comprehensive manner. The Mini Office Laboratory creates a learning environment that reflects the dynamics of the real world of work. Equipped with the latest technological equipment and industry-based simulation systems, this laboratory allows students to hone technical and managerial skills, such as document management, digital archiving, preparing financial reports, and using accounting software. With a practice-based learning approach, the Mini Office Laboratory is in line with the USU Vocational Faculty's vision to become a leading vocational education center, producing superior human resources who are competent, creative, and ready to compete in the global industrial world.
Oleohouse Laboratory
Oleohouse is an educational, research and production facility dedicated to integrating theory and practice in the field of refined oils (oleochemicals) and their derivatives as well as herbal-based products. As a teaching factory, Oleohouse focuses on learning, research and innovation activities in the field of oleochemistry, with the aim of analyzing oleo-derived materials, developing and testing oleochemical derivative products, and supporting the processing of oleo-based materials to increase the added value of products. We are committed to creating an environment that supports innovation, research and development of products based on local wisdom and natural ingredients by combining formal education and industry experience.
Instrumentation Laboratory
The Instrumentation Laboratory is a special facility designed and equipped with equipment to carry out industrial automation in the field of instrumentation, while integrating theory and practice in education, research and innovation. As a teaching factory (TEFA), this laboratory implements various programs such as simulation and production of instrumentation devices, development of real projects in the field of sensors and automatic measurement systems, as well as collaboration with industrial partners for training and certification. This laboratory also supports students in designing, analyzing and operating instrumentation systems according to industry standards, while improving their problem-solving abilities and soft skills. We are committed to creating an environment that supports technological innovation, product development and collaboration with industry, combining formal education with real experience to produce graduates who are competent, innovative and ready to face the challenges of the world of work.
Fasilitas Fakultas Vokasi
The Mini Tax Office at the Vocational Faculty which is managed by the Tax Administration Diploma Three Study Program is an innovation in learning that integrates theory and practice in the field of taxation. This teaching factory concept is designed to provide students with direct experience in managing tax administration starting from filling out tax returns, understanding tax regulations, to tax reporting. This not only increases theoretical understanding but also prepares students to face challenges in the world of work. Synergizing and involving collaboration with practitioners and the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) through field practice and training ensures that learning remains relevant and up-to-date, making graduates ready to face challenges in the world of work.

CodeStudio is a Creative Technology-based Teaching Factory laboratory at the Faculty of Vocational Studies, University of North Sumatra. A place where creativity collaborates with technology to create innovation. Our laboratory is designed to create solutions that have a broad impact through a combination of creative multimedia with the latest technology. Students are prepared for hands-on, and project-based learning that is different from traditional education. Students are taught to imagine and build innovative solutions tailored to real-world industrial needs, combining theory and practice to prepare them for competition and the ever-changing digital startup ecosystem.
CodeStudio is a unique Teaching Factory with a commitment to multidisciplinary knowledge integration. Our program combines knowledge from engineering, design, computer science and technology, media studies and business creating a holistic approach that prepares students with a broader spectrum of knowledge. By collaborating between disciplines, students are required to build the skills needed to create new ideas using various technical tools and creative processes to solve complex problems in society.
