On Monday, July 22, 2024, the D-III Program held a Top Scientist Webinar through the EQUITY Program - Universitas Sumatera Utara, with the theme "Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) in Biosensing."
The event featured a top scientist from Universiti Malaya-Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Wan Jefrey Basirun, alongside the host lecturer from the D-III Chemistry Program, Agung Pratama, S.Si., M.Si. This initiative aimed to accelerate internationalization and foster global partnerships between Universitas Sumatera Utara and universities worldwide.
The expected outcomes of this webinar include providing the latest developments in science and technology, which are crucial in enhancing the competencies of the academic community within the D-III Chemistry Program. Additionally, this event is anticipated to boost the academic reputation of the D-III Chemistry Program, Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara, while creating a positive academic atmosphere for both lecturers and students in the D-III Chemistry Program.
