Video Content Competition - Global Finnovation Challenge 2026: Show Your Ideas, Inspire the World!

Medan, September 25, 2026 – The Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), invites high school and university students to participate in the Video Content Competition, a video content competition that serves as a platform for the younger generation to express creative and innovative ideas through impactful audiovisual works that benefit society and support the creation of a better and more sustainable future.

The competition is open to:
Senior High School (SMA) or equivalent students
Vocational High School (SMK) or equivalent students
Associate Degree students
Applied Bachelor's Degree students

Subtheme Options
Participants can choose one of the following five subthemes:

  1. Financial Crime Awareness: Smart Ways to Protect Your Data and Money in the Digital Era
  2. The Cashless Lifestyle: Managing Personal Finances Wisely with Digital Banking Services
  3. Achieving Financial Freedom Early: A Student’s Guide to Smart and Secure Investing
  4. Green Banking: The Role of Financial Services in Protecting the Environment
  5. Banking and FinTech Synergy: Empowering Local MSMEs to Grow and Compete

Competition Timeline

  • Registration Opens: September 14, 2026
  • Registration & Submission of Works: September 14 – October 16, 2026
  • Winner Announcement: November 7, 2026

This competition provides participants with an opportunity to develop creativity, financial literacy, communication skills, and awareness of various current issues, ranging from financial security in the digital era, personal financial management, and investment to sustainable banking and MSME empowerment through financial technology.
