Medan, 19 January 2026 — Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) officially held the Appointment of Permanent Lecturers and Educational Staff for 2026 within the Universitas Sumatera Utara environment. The event took place at the Prof. Dr. Suhadji Hadibroto Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, USU, and was attended by the Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara along with university and faculty leaders.

On this occasion, the Rector of USU, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., delivered a welcoming address and expressed his appreciation to the lecturers and permanent educational staff who were officially appointed. He emphasized the crucial role of human resources in supporting the improvement of educational quality, academic services, and university governance.

The event also included the formal handover of the Decree of Appointment (Surat Keputusan/SK) for permanent lecturers and educational staff, as a manifestation of institutional strengthening and USU’s commitment to enhancing the quality of higher education services.

The permanent lecturers of the Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara, who received their appointment decrees at this event were:
