Faculty of Vocational Universitas Sumatera Utara held a Joint Breaking Fast and Retirement Farewell which took place on Thursday, March 13 2025 in the Hall of Faculty of Vocational. In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Isfenti Sadalia, S.E., M.E., (Dean of the Faculty of Vocational USU) said that this activity was not just a joint breaking of the fast, but also an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and increase togetherness in the USU Faculty of Vocational environment.
The breaking fast together activity began with a sermon delivered by Ustadz Ahmad Azizi. In his sermon, Ust. Ahmad Azizi conveyed the importance of togetherness, sharing, and increasing good deeds in the month of Ramadhan.
Faculty of Vocational Studies of USU also held a Retirement Farewell to honor lecturers who have entered retirement. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Isfenti Sadalia, S.E., M.E., (Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Studies of USU) expressed his deep appreciation for the dedication and contribution of the retirees over the years in the world of education. The Faculty of Vocational Studies gave awards as a form of appreciation for their services while serving at the Faculty of Vocational Studies of USU.
The activity ended with a congregational Maghrib prayer. With the implementation of this activity, it is expected to increase the sense of togetherness and strengthen the values of virtue among the entire academic community of the USU Faculty of Vocational Studies.
