Medan, November 19, 2024 - The 2nd Anniversary of the Faculty of Vocational Education, University of North Sumatra (USU) was held with various festive and diverse events. The event began with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Education, Prof. Dr. Isfenti Sadalia, S.E., M.E., who opened this activity with the hope of continuing to strengthen the Faculty of Vocational Education's role in education.
The series of events began with a Fashion Show competition with a Recycling theme held in the faculty lobby. This was followed by a Modern Dance competition on the main stage, which mesmerized the audience with the energetic performances of the participants. In addition, the distribution of door prizes in the middle of the event also enlivened the atmosphere.
As part of the activities, this anniversary was also enlivened by a Job Fair held in the campus area. Students and alumni of the Faculty of Vocational Studies had the opportunity to interact with various well-known companies, opening up job opportunities in various fields. Meanwhile, blood donation activities held during the event allowed students and the academic community to participate in useful social actions.
No less interesting, the bazaar held by Faculty of Vocational Education students also became the center of attention. Various creative products, food, and drinks were sold in this bazaar, which was a place to sell and a form of student creativity. The bazaar allowed students to develop their entrepreneurial spirit and a place for fun social interaction.
The activity then continued with the Final Acoustic Band performance featuring a band group with a charming acoustic performance. The event was closed with the announcement of the Faculty of Vocational Education 2nd Anniversary competition winners, which was the highlight of this festive celebration. With the success of this event, the Faculty of Vocational Studies of USU has further demonstrated its commitment to producing graduates who are ready to face the professional world.
