Medan, 28 January 2026 – Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) officially inaugurated Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si. as the Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara for the 2026–2031 term. This inauguration marks the beginning of Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin’s leadership in continuing to strengthen institutional governance, enhancing the quality of education, research, and community service, and further developing Universitas Sumatera Utara to become increasingly excellent and competitive at both national and international levels.
On this occasion, it is hoped that the new leadership will advance innovations and strategic policies that positively impact the academic community and support the realization of Universitas Sumatera Utara’s vision as a higher education institution that makes a tangible contribution to national development.
