Medan, October 1, 2025 – The Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a Workshop on the Implementation of Integrity Zone – Corruption-Free Area (ZI-WBK) focusing on six main levers. The event took place at the Mikie Wijaya Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) USU, on Wednesday (1/10).
The workshop opened with welcoming remarks from the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Vocational Education USU, Drs. Gustanto, M.Hum., who emphasized the importance of upholding the values of integrity, accountability, and transparency within the higher education environment. According to him, the implementation of ZI-WBK is not merely an administrative program but a tangible commitment to establishing clean, professional, and service-oriented governance.
The workshop featured Cholina Trisa Siregar, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., Sp.KMB., as the keynote speaker, who presented material on strategies for implementing the six main levers in ZI-WBK. She elaborated on how strengthening change management, improving governance systems, structuring human resource management systems, reinforcing accountability, enhancing supervision, and improving the quality of public services can be effectively implemented within the Faculty of Vocational Education USU.
The session was moderated by Juli Novita Sari, S.Si., M.Sc., who fostered an engaging and productive discussion atmosphere. Through the Q&A session, participants gained a deeper understanding of the practical steps for implementing ZI-WBK and the potential challenges that may arise during the process.
Through this workshop, the Faculty of Vocational Education USU aims to strengthen the collective commitment of all academic members to support the development of an Integrity Zone toward a Corruption-Free Area, while also enhancing the quality of vocational education services that are excellent, professional, and competitive.
