Medan, May 4, 2026 — The Faculty of Vocational Education at Universitas Sumatera Utara held a Farewell-Welcoming Ceremony for the leadership of the Faculty of Vocational Education for the 2022–2026 period as a form of appreciation for the previous leadership while also welcoming the new leadership for the 2026–2031 period.
The event took place at the Hall of Building A, Faculty of Vocational Education, and was attended by faculty leaders, heads and secretaries of study programs, lecturers, administrative staff, and guests from outside the Faculty of Vocational Education.
In her remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Education USU for the 2022–2026 period, who was also reappointed for the 2026–2031 period, Prof. Dr. Isfenti Sadalia, expressed appreciation and gratitude to all members of the leadership team, lecturers, administrative staff, and students for the support and cooperation established throughout the previous term. She also reaffirmed her commitment to continuing strategic programs and improving the quality of vocational education to become more adaptive and competitive.
The event also featured a documentary video presentation highlighting the journey of the Vice Dean I and Vice Dean III during the 2022–2026 period. The program continued with the sharing of impressions and messages from the Vice Dean I and Vice Dean III of the 2022–2026 period, represented by Drs. Gustanto. In his remarks, he expressed gratitude for the support of the entire academic community throughout his service. He also emphasized that togetherness, cooperation, and collective spirit were the keys to implementing various programs and overcoming challenges during the leadership period.

The event was officially concluded and followed by a gathering session aimed at strengthening relationships among members of the academic community. Through this farewell-welcoming event, the Faculty of Vocational Education USU reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining adaptive, collaborative, and sustainable leadership focused on improving the quality of education and public service.
