Medan, May 7, 2026 – The Faculty of Vocational Education at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held the Graduation Confirmation Ceremony for Diploma Program Graduates, Period III of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, as an official recognition of students who have completed all academic requirements. The event took place in Room 307 of the Faculty of Vocational Education and was attended by faculty leaders, heads and secretaries of study programs, lecturers, educational staff, and 9 (nine) graduation participants.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization of the USU Faculty of Vocational Education, Junedi Ginting, S.Si., M.Si. In his remarks, he expressed appreciation and congratulations to all students who had successfully completed their studies at the Faculty of Vocational Education USU. He also expressed hope that the graduates would become competent and professional human resources who are ready to compete in both the workforce and entrepreneurial sectors.
The graduation confirmation ceremony proceeded solemnly with the reading of the graduation decree and the symbolic presentation of graduation insignia. Subsequently, the Head of the Student Affairs Subdivision, Pesta Natalisda Simanjuntak, S.H., read the Decree of the Graduation Confirmation Ceremony for Diploma Program Graduates, Period III Academic Year 2025/2026, before the graduate calling session began.
The graduates participating in the ceremony came from seven study programs, consisting of:
D3 Accounting Study Program: 1 graduate
D3 Finance Study Program: 2 graduates
D3 Secretary Studies Study Program: 2 graduates
D3 Taxation Study Program: 1 graduate
D3 Statistics Study Program: 1 graduate
D3 Physics Study Program: 1 graduate
D3 Informatics Engineering Study Program: 1 graduate
The ceremony was officially closed by the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization, marking the end of the event series. This occasion became an important milestone for the graduates as they move on to the next stage, whether pursuing further education or entering the workforce.
