Medan, May 4, 2026 — Universitas Sumatera Utara officially inaugurated the Deans of Faculties, Directors of the Graduate School, Vice Deans of Faculties, and Vice Directors of the Graduate School for the 2026–2031 period at the USU Student Center.
In his remarks, the Rector of USU, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, stated that change is inevitable and must be addressed adaptively by higher education institutions. He emphasized the important role of universities in responding to global dynamics, including technological advancements, climate change, and various forms of disruption.
The Rector also highlighted the importance of lecturers serving as academic leaders who not only focus on teaching, research, and community service, but also possess managerial capabilities in institutional governance.
