Education-Expo 2024: Showcasing Creativity and Educational Opportunities

From Friday to Sunday, May 17-19, 2024, the Education-Expo 2024 took place at Medan Focal Point, with the Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) actively participating. The event was organized in a bazaar-like format, featuring various engaging activities such as workshops and competitions to foster creativity and introduce educational opportunities to students.

One of the main attractions during the expo was the vocational stand, which showcased the talents and creativity of USU's vocational students in various fields. A key highlight of this stand was the soap-making demonstration held on the final day. Visitors were allowed to learn firsthand about soap-making, from selecting ingredients to mastering essential techniques.

In addition to the vocational stand, Education-Expo 2024 featured a range of entertainment and competitions involving students from elementary (SD), middle (SMP), and high schools (SMA). These competitions spanned academic and non-academic areas, including arts, sports, and other skills, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and abilities.

On Sunday, May 19, 2024, the Faculty of Vocational Education organized a Herbal Soap-Making Workshop led by vocational students and accompanied by faculty members.

The organizers of Education-Expo 2024 expressed hope that the event would serve as a platform to inspire and develop students' creativity, while also introducing them to educational opportunities that support their future aspirations. Through a series of activities and valuable information, the expo aimed to motivate and guide students in planning for higher education and achieving their career goals.
