The Field Assessment of the Applied Bachelor’s Degree Program in Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara, was conducted as part of the accreditation process for the study program, which has been established for two years, by the LAMSAMA accreditation body.

The Field Assessment of the Applied Bachelor’s Degree Program in Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara, has been successfully conducted. The field assessment activities were carried out over two days, from April 6 to April 7, 2026.

The assessors present during the field assessment were Dyah Iswantini Pradono from Institut Pertanian Bogor and Haryadi from Politeknik Negeri Bandung.

The field assessment was officially opened by Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, Vice Rector I of Universitas Sumatera Utara, accompanied by Isfenti Sadalia, Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Education. They expressed their hope that the field assessment would result in an excellent accreditation outcome from LAMSAMA.

On the first day, the assessment activities focused on reviewing the study program accreditation documents through presentations delivered by the faculty, study program management, permanent lecturers, practitioner lecturers, and students. On the second day, the activities continued with visits to laboratories and supporting units that facilitate academic and practical learning activities for students of the Applied Bachelor’s Degree Program in Applied Chemistry.
