Medan, September 18, 2026 – The Applied Bachelor's Degree Program in Digital Office Administration, Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held the inauguration of the management board of the Student Association of the Applied Bachelor's Degree Program in Digital Office Administration (HIMAPDI) for the 2026/2027 period. The activity took place at the Faculty of Vocational Education USU Hall on Friday (September 18, 2026).
The inauguration of the HIMAPDI management board was part of the regeneration process of the student organization and served as a momentum for students of the Applied Bachelor's Degree Program in Digital Office Administration to begin a new management period. Through this management board, HIMAPDI is expected to serve as a platform for students to develop their potential, gain organizational experience, and create various activities that support student development.
The activity was attended by the Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs of the Faculty of Vocational Education USU, the Head of the Applied Bachelor's Degree Program in Digital Office Administration, study program lecturers, representatives of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Vocational Education, representatives of student associations of study programs within the Faculty of Vocational Education, and students.
The series of activities began with remarks from the Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Solahuddin Nasution, S.E., M.SP. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of student organizations as a learning space for students to develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and responsibility in carrying out organizational mandates.
Furthermore, the Head of the Applied Bachelor's Degree Program in Digital Office Administration, Dr. Fivi Rahmatus Sofiyah, S.E., M.Si., delivered remarks to the HIMAPDI management board members who will carry out their duties for the 2026/2027 period. She expressed her hope that the new management board would actively and responsibly implement its work programs and organize activities that benefit students and support the development of the study program.
Entering the main event, the Head of the Applied Bachelor's Degree Program in Digital Office Administration inaugurated the HIMAPDI management board for the 2026/2027 period. The inauguration ceremony symbolized the beginning of a new mandate for the management board members to run the organization and continue the student leadership succession within the Applied Bachelor's Degree Program in Digital Office Administration.
With the inauguration of the new management board, HIMAPDI is expected to bring new enthusiasm to the implementation of various organizational programs. Not only serving as a platform for students to carry out activities, HIMAPDI is also expected to become a space for developing creativity, collaboration, leadership, and student readiness to face an increasingly dynamic and digitalized workforce.
The inauguration also marked the beginning of the HIMAPDI management board for the 2026/2027 period to carry out its roles and responsibilities with a spirit of togetherness and make positive contributions to students, the study program, and the Faculty of Vocational Education USU.
