Medan, September 16, 2026 – The Diploma Program in Metrology and Instrumentation, Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held the Inauguration of the Management Board of the Student Association of the Diploma Program in Metrology and Instrumentation, attended by students of the 2024 cohort as the newly appointed management board.
The inauguration was held solemnly and marked an important moment in beginning the new management period while enhancing the role of students in supporting academic and non-academic activities within the Diploma Program in Metrology and Instrumentation.
During the activity, a speech was delivered by the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Vocational Education USU, who provided guidance and motivation to the newly inaugurated management board to carry out their organizational responsibilities with full accountability and build good cooperation in supporting the advancement of students and the faculty.
A speech was also delivered by the Head of the Diploma Program in Metrology and Instrumentation. In the address, the Head of the Study Program encouraged all newly inaugurated management board members to actively carry out their organizational roles, build good communication and collaboration, and organize various activities that provide a positive impact on all students of the Diploma Program in Metrology and Instrumentation.
This inauguration is expected to mark the beginning of an active, solid, and responsible management board that can serve as a platform for students to develop their potential, creativity, leadership, and sense of togetherness within the Diploma Program in Metrology and Instrumentation.
