Boundless collaboration, a joint step toward more global vocational accounting! Voc4si × TISSA UUM = Collaboration & Inspiration.
Medan, September 8, 2025 – The Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara (Voc4si), established a strategic collaboration with TISSA UUM (Universiti Utara Malaysia). This meeting marked an important milestone in strengthening international academic networks, encompassing curriculum development, joint research, and opportunities for student and faculty exchanges.
The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Faculty of Vocational Education USU, including:
Prof. Dr. Isfenti Sadalia, S.E., M.E. – Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Education USU
Dr. Yasmin Chairunisa Muchtar, S.P., MBA. – Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Vocational Education USU (Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Assets)
Also present were the Heads of Study Programs within the Faculty of Vocational Education USU:
Sambas Ade Kesuma, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., Ak., CA. – Head of Applied Bachelor's Degree in Public Sector Accounting (Voc4si)
Beby Kendida Hasibuan, S.E., M.Si. – Head of Diploma Program in Finance
Fivi Rahmatus Sofiyah, S.E., M.Si. – Head of Diploma Program in Secretariat Administration

The discussion was held in a warm and constructive atmosphere, exploring opportunities for joint research, curriculum innovation, and exchange programs designed to enrich students’ academic experiences.
“This collaboration is proof of our commitment to strengthening international networks while enhancing the academic quality of the Faculty of Vocational Education USU,” said Prof. Dr. Isfenti Sadalia, S.E., M.E., Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Education USU.
“Partnerships like this are crucial to foster stronger academic networks and enrich both research and teaching experiences. We truly value the collaboration with USU,” remarked Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arifatul Husna Binti Mohd. Ariff, Deputy Dean (Academic & International), TISSA UUM.
