Thursday, September 19, 2024 - PT Kawasan Industri Medan (Medan Industrial Area) implemented the KIM Mengajar Program at the USU Faculty of Vocational Education as one of a series of activities for the 2nd Anniversary of the USU Faculty of Vocational Education. This activity was attended by Mr. Daly Mulyana as President Director and the staff of PT KIM, who was welcomed by Mr. Drs. Gustanto, M.Hum as Vice Dean III, and the Faculty of Vocational Education USU staff. This activity is a Priority Program for Social and Environmental Responsibility in the field of Education of PT KIM. Mr. Daly Mulyana presented and explained the business process of managing Industrial Estates. He shared tips on preparing for the world of work with students guided by Mrs. Dona Tiara Lubis, S.T., M.T., as Moderator. This activity was attended by around 200 students from all Study Programs at the USU Faculty of Vocational Education to provide students with a deep understanding of the preparation needed to enter the world of work. The question and answer session was carried out actively, and the students enthusiastically asked the speakers questions about the Industrial Estate.
At the end of the event, Mr. Daly Mulyana (President Director) of PT KIM gave door prizes to several students who participated in the activity. Hopefully, this event can benefit USU Vocational Faculty students by preparing them to face challenges in the increasingly competitive world of work.

Furthermore, the Faculty of Vocational Education of USU signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) cooperation agreement with PT Kawasan Industri Medan. It is hoped that through this collaboration, Faculty of Vocational Education students can get job opportunities in the industrial world.
