Medan, October 23, 2025 – The Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara, in collaboration with Indonesia Creator Hub and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, successfully held the Online Workshop Indonesia Creator Hub Batch 2 on Thursday, October 23, 2025, via the Zoom platform. This event served as a learning and inspiration forum for students aspiring to develop their skills in content creation and the digital world.
The workshop began at 9:30 a.m. (WIB) with an opening session and welcoming remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Education, Prof. Dr. Isfenti Sadalia, S.E., M.E., who emphasized the importance of mastering digital technology and creativity for vocational students to remain competitive in the modern industry. A welcoming speech was also delivered by Sembodo Budiharto, representing Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, who reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting Indonesia’s young creator ecosystem.
This second batch of the workshop featured three inspiring speakers: Ovita Pattari Purnamadjaya and Joy Gloria Harendza, Chief Creative Officers of Grow in Asia, and Panji Suryono, a content creator known for sharing insights on digital marketing and personal branding.
In the first session, Ovita and Joy shared their experiences in building careers in the creative industry and strategies for producing impactful content. Meanwhile, in the second session, Panji Suryono offered practical tips and tricks on how to become a consistent creator capable of engaging audiences across digital platforms.
In addition to the insightful sessions, participants also had the chance to interact through a Spin Wheel segment featuring exciting prizes. IM3 users, in particular, had the opportunity to win a smartphone and an official Indonesian National Team jersey as tokens of appreciation from the organizers.
The event concluded at 12:00 p.m. (WIB) with great enthusiasm from all participants. Through this activity, it is hoped that USU Vocational students will be further motivated to create and innovate in the digital era, becoming part of Indonesia’s next generation of creative talents.
