Medan, October 18, 2024—The Faculty of Vocational Education of the Universitas Sumatera Utara held a public lecture entitled "Smart Investment in Mutual Funds for a Brilliant Future" on Friday, October 18, 2024. This event, which took place at the Faculty of Vocational Education Hall, was the result of a collaboration between the Faculty of Vocational Education USU and Mirae Asset.
This public lecture was attended by students, lecturers, and industry practitioners enthusiastic about exploring the investment world, especially in mutual fund instruments. The speakers at this event were two direct practitioners in the investment field, namely Ms. Francisca Gerungan, Head of Fund Service PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia, and Ms. Alifah G. Maharani, Deputy Head of Retail Sales Distribution & Business Alliances PT Insight Investment Management.
In her presentation, Ms. Francisca discussed various smart and profitable investment strategies in mutual funds and the importance of financial planning for the future. Meanwhile, Ms. Alifah highlighted market trends and how students can exploit existing investment opportunities.
This event provided new insights for the student participants and an interactive discussion about the challenges and opportunities in today's investment world. Hopefully, this public lecture will help students better understand the importance of investing early on and prepare for a more glorious future.
