Medan, July 23, 2026 – The Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) organized a Lecturer Workload (BKD) Reporting Service for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year in Room 203 of the Faculty of Vocational Education. The activity was part of the faculty's efforts to support the smooth, orderly, and efficient implementation of lecturer performance reporting through the Integrated Human Resources Information System (SISTER).
The event was attended by the Dean's leadership team, Heads of Study Programs, homebase lecturers, the Head of Administration, Heads of Subdivisions, and administrative staff. The participation of these stakeholders reflected the importance of collaboration among faculty leadership, study programs, lecturers, and administrative personnel to ensure that the BKD reporting process was carried out in an orderly manner and in accordance with applicable regulations.
The program began with opening remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Education, USU, Prof. Dr. Isfenti Sadalia, S.E., M.E. In her address, she emphasized the importance of BKD reporting as part of lecturers' professional responsibilities and as documentation of the implementation of the university's Tri Dharma—education, research, and community service.
The session continued with a presentation by the Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure, Dr. Yasmin Chairunisa Muchtar, S.P., MBA. The presentation covered BKD reporting procedures, lecturer portfolio updates, and the process of claiming performance records through SISTER. It also explained that lecturers' workloads include activities in education, research, community service, and supporting academic duties. Each activity must be accompanied by appropriate supporting documents, such as appointment decrees, assignment letters, certificates, scholarly publications, and other relevant evidence.
Participants were also informed that lecturers should review and update their portfolios in SISTER for the February–July 2026 Even Semester before submitting their performance claims during the designated reporting period. The claimed performance data are drawn directly from each lecturer's updated portfolio.
Through this service, the Faculty of Vocational Education, USU reaffirmed its commitment to assisting lecturers and study programs in completing the BKD reporting process accurately and efficiently. The initiative is expected to enhance stakeholders' understanding of reporting procedures while supporting more effective, accurate, and well-documented management of lecturer performance records.
