Congratulations to the Recipients of the 2026 TALENTA USU Research Grant Funding under the Reputation Research Group Scheme

The Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) extends its sincere congratulations to the lecturers whose TALENTA USU Research Proposals under the Reputation Research Group Scheme have been approved for funding through USU Non-State Revenue (Non-PNBP) Funds for Fiscal Year 2026.

This achievement reflects the university’s appreciation for the dedication and contributions of its lecturers in producing innovative, high-quality research that advances scientific knowledge and generates meaningful benefits for society.

The following lecturers from the Faculty of Vocational Education, USU, have successfully secured funding under this program:

  • Lailan Syafrina Hasibuan – A Regional Investment Early Warning System Model Based on Macroeconomic Indicators to Support Regional Economic Policy
  • Sri Yuliasmi – Formulation and Efficacy Testing of a Chitosan Nanoparticle-Based Mucoadhesive Hydrogel Containing Purple Leaf Extract (Graptophyllum pictum (L.) Griff.) as a Candidate Herbal Anti-Hemorrhoid Product in a Croton Oil-Induced Rat Hemorrhoid Model
  • Rahmadhani Banurea – A Hybrid Peltier Module Power Generation System Utilizing Heat from Plastic Waste Pyrolysis Condensers and Solar Panels through an Internet of Things-Based Battery Charger System
  • Popi Patilaya – Formulation and Evaluation of a Polyherbal Syrup Containing Snakehead Fish Extract, Moringa Leaves, and Honey as an Anti-Stunting Supplement
  • Samerdanta Sinulingga – Development of a Viral Tourism Strategy Model for the Revitalization of Sustainable Tourism Destinations through Destination Awareness, Travel Intention, and Tourism Carrying Capacity
  • Asima Manurung – Scalable Urban Heat Island Mapping for Sustainable Cities from Aerial Data Using a Hybrid Transformer Deep Learning Architecture
  • Solahuddin Nasution – A Theoretical Model of Sustainable Tourism Village Competitiveness Based on Environmental Education, Local Wisdom, and Tourist Perceptions in North Sumatra
  • Henni Cintya – Fucoxanthin-VCO Extract as a Nutraceutical for Metabolic Syndrome: Green Extraction Applications and In Vivo Mechanism Studies
