Food and Pharmaceutical Analyst

Diploma Program

The Diploma Program of Food and Pharmaceutical Analysts (Anafarma) at the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) was established in 1995 and has achieved Very Good (A) accreditation. The program is responsible for implementing vocational higher education in the field of pharmacy with high national standards.

Supported by the best, qualified teaching staff and having national teaching certification, this study program produces graduates ready to become pharmaceutical and food analysts, technical personnel in the pharmaceutical field, medical representatives, and entrepreneurs. Alumni of the Diploma Program of Food and Pharmaceutical Analysts have spread across various regions in Indonesia, working in the pharmaceutical and food industry, drug and food quality testing laboratories, pharmaceutical wholesalers, hospitals, and pharmaceutical installations in different government and private agencies.

History

1994

The Diploma Program Food and Pharmaceutical Analyst opened or began accepting new students in August 1994.

1995

The Diploma Program in Food and Pharmaceutical Analyst obtained an establishment permit from the Directorate General of Higher Education through the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education Number 493/Dikti/Kep/1995, dated December 6, 1995, signed by Bambang Suhendro. Thus, it was officially named as the sixth diploma study program at the USU Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.

2006

The Diploma Program in Food and Pharmaceutical Analysts was transferred from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences to the Faculty of Pharmacy.

2022

Diploma Program in Food and Pharmaceutical Analyst shifted from Faculty of Pharmacy to Faculty of Vocational Studies
