Medan, March 13, 2025 – The D-III Tax Administration Study Program of the Vocational Faculty at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), in collaboration with the KPP Pratama Medan Polonia and USU Tax Center, organized the Assistance for Submission of 2024 Individual Income Tax (PPh) Annual Returns. The event was held over two days, on March 13–14, 2025, at the Auditorium of the Vocational Faculty of USU, from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB.

This activity aimed to provide understanding and guidance to taxpayers, especially students and the academic community of USU, regarding the submission of Individual Income Tax Annual Returns. Participants were educated on the tax reporting mechanism, which is now more accessible through the e-filing system provided by the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP).

The Head of the D-III Tax Administration Study Program at USU, Faisal Eriza, S.Sos., M.SP., stated that tax reporting is now more practical and no longer requires long queues. “Just a few simple steps and your tax obligations can be fulfilled quickly,” he said.

He further reminded that the deadline for submitting the Annual Tax Return is March 31, 2025. Therefore, he urged taxpayers to fulfill their tax obligations promptly to avoid administrative sanctions due to late submission.

This activity is expected to raise tax awareness among students and the general public and encourage compliance with annual tax reporting to support national development.
