Medan, July 8, 2026 – The Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a Farewell and Appreciation Ceremony for the Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs for the 2022–2026 term at the Faculty Hall. The event was organized to recognize their dedication, loyalty, and invaluable service throughout their leadership tenure.

The ceremony was attended by the faculty leadership, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, academic staff, the Head of Administration, heads of administrative sub-units, and administrative personnel within the Faculty of Vocational Education.

In her remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Education USU, Prof. Dr. Isfenti Sadalia, S.E., M.E., expressed her deepest appreciation to all Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs for their commitment, hard work, and outstanding contributions during their 2022–2026 term of office. She emphasized that the Faculty's achievements over the past several years were made possible through the dedication and collaborative efforts of the study program leadership in strengthening academic governance, enhancing educational quality, expanding partnerships, and promoting the achievements of both faculty members and students.

"Your service has become an integral part of the Faculty of Vocational Education's journey. Thank you for your dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment throughout your term. May the contributions you have made serve as a strong foundation for the Faculty's continued growth and success in the years ahead," the Dean stated.

An emotional highlight of the event was the screening of a commemorative video showcasing the journey, activities, and accomplishments of the Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs throughout the 2022–2026 leadership period. The presentation served as a reflection of their collective efforts in advancing their respective study programs while revisiting many memorable moments from their years of service.

As a token of appreciation, the Faculty of Vocational Education presented commemorative awards to all Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs who completed their terms of office. The mementos were presented symbolically by the Dean as an expression of gratitude for their dedication and meaningful contributions to the Faculty's development.

Through this event, the Faculty of Vocational Education USU not only paid tribute to the outgoing study program leaders but also reinforced the spirit of collegiality, collaboration, and leadership continuity in its ongoing pursuit of becoming a leading, adaptive, and globally competitive institution in vocational higher education.
