The D3 Japanese Language Study Program at the USU Faculty of Vocational Studies held a guest lecture, “The Education System in Japan and the Habits of the Current Generation,” on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the USU Faculty of Vocational Studies Hall. This activity was attended by second-semester and fourth-semester students. Haruna Fukuda, the speaker in this activity, explained education in Japan from elementary, secondary, to higher education levels and also held a discussion session about the habits of the current generation in Japan. Students were also invited to discuss to compare the education system in Japan and Indonesia.

With this guest lecture activity, students are expected to master the material related to the course and practice the Japanese language skills that they have learned by communicating directly with native Japanese speakers.
