Medan, August 15, 2026 — The Diploma Program in Metrology and Instrumentation, Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held an online coordination meeting via Zoom on August 15, 2026. The meeting was attended by course instructors from the Diploma Program in Metrology and Instrumentation for the 2026/2027 Odd Semester.
The coordination meeting was held as part of the Study Program’s efforts to ensure that lectures during the 2026/2027 Odd Semester are conducted in an orderly and structured manner and comply with the applicable academic administration regulations at the Faculty of Vocational Education USU.
During the meeting, the Head of the Study Program reminded all course instructors to regularly record attendance through the e-Learning system for each lecture session. Attendance records are an important part of documenting the implementation of learning activities.
The meeting also discussed procedures to be followed when a scheduled lecture session cannot be held as planned. Course instructors were reminded to ensure that any missed sessions are rescheduled or made up within the same month so that the implementation of lectures continues to meet the established requirements.
The reminders concerning attendance and lecture sessions are also related to administrative procedures and the payment of lecturers’ entitlements. Discrepancies between the implementation of lectures and records in the e-Learning system may affect the administrative verification process at the faculty level and potentially prevent or delay payment processing by the Finance Division of the Faculty of Vocational Education USU.
Through this coordination meeting, the Head of the Diploma Program in Metrology and Instrumentation encouraged all course instructors to work together in maintaining orderly learning administration and ensuring that all lecture activities are properly documented. Ongoing coordination between the Study Program and course instructors is expected to support smooth academic processes and provide optimal educational services for students.
The meeting also reflected the Diploma Program in Metrology and Instrumentation’s commitment to improving administrative compliance, accountability, and the quality of learning implementation during the 2026/2027 Odd Semester.
