March 02, 2026 – The inauguration of the Vice Rectors and the University Secretary of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) for the 2026–2031 period has been conducted in a solemn ceremony. This inauguration marks a strategic step for USU in strengthening governance, improving academic quality, and expanding the university’s role in research, innovation, and partnerships.
Within this new leadership structure, several prominent academic figures have been entrusted with the mandate to serve as the university’s leaders, namely:
