Medan, 24 June 2026 – The Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), officially inaugurated the President and Vice President of the Faculty of Vocational Education Student Executive Board (BEM) for the 2026/2027 term in a ceremony held at the Faculty of Vocational Education Hall on Wednesday (24/6). The event marked an important milestone in the student leadership regeneration process while reaffirming the commitment to strengthening synergy and collaboration within the Faculty of Vocational Education.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the faculty leadership, lecturers, administrative staff, the Vice President, and members of the USU Student Executive Board (BEM USU), the President of the Faculty of Vocational Education Student Executive Board for the 2025/2026 term, and students of the Faculty of Vocational Education. The presence of various members of the academic community and student organizations reflected their collective support for the continuity of student leadership and the development of student organizations within the faculty.

The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Education. In the opening remarks, the Dean expressed appreciation to the previous BEM administration for its dedication and contributions to the advancement of student organizations within the Faculty of Vocational Education. The Dean also congratulated Kidung Agung Wisanto Ujung and Muhammad Akbar Siregar, who were officially inaugurated as the President and Vice President of the Faculty of Vocational Education Student Executive Board for the 2026/2027 term.

Furthermore, the Dean expressed hope that the new administration would carry out its responsibilities with a strong sense of accountability, uphold integrity, and introduce innovative programs that would have a positive impact on students. The Student Executive Board is expected to serve as a strategic partner of the faculty in fostering student development, strengthening communication among students, and creating an organizational environment that is inclusive, collaborative, and committed to shared progress.

The inauguration was not merely a ceremonial transition of leadership but also marked the beginning of a new period of service and responsibility for the President and Vice President of the Faculty of Vocational Education Student Executive Board for the 2026/2027 term. With a renewed spirit of leadership, Kidung Agung Wisanto Ujung and Muhammad Akbar Siregar are expected to optimize the role of the Student Executive Board as a platform for student aspirations, leadership development, and the driving force behind various student activities that provide meaningful benefits to all students of the Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara.
