Universitas Sumatera Utara held the Student Art Week (PEKSIMA USU) 2024 on May 15-16, 2024, featuring 14 competition categories. This event aimed to discover and nurture artistic talents among USU students who will later represent the university at the Regional Student Art Week (PEKSIMIDA) and subsequently at the National Student Art Week (PEKSIMINAS) 2024.
The event's highlight was the awarding ceremony at the USU Student Center on Thursday, May 17, 2024. Jasmine Anastasya Widy, a student from the Diploma Program in English at the Faculty of Vocational Education USU, won 1st place in the Women's Poetry Reading Competition.
