The D3 Japanese Language Study Program curriculum is based on the National Curriculum Framework for Higher Education (KKNI). It places a strong emphasis on practical application through hands-on courses. These practical courses include "Conversation I" to "Conversation VI" and "Japanese for Business." In addition to classroom instruction, students in their fifth semester can gain more profound knowledge and experience through an internship program (PKL).
The PKL program allows students to practice real-world Japanese communication in business and industrial settings. It is conducted at PT. Sagami Indonesia—Tanjung Morawa, a location chosen for its suitability for practical learning. PT. Sagami Indonesia is also a D3 Japanese Language Study Program stakeholder. The PKL program is one of the implementations of the collaboration agreement between the program and the company, which was established in October 2021.
The program aims to provide students with real-world experience in applying Japanese conversation skills in business and industrial settings, particularly in roles such as office staff and translators in Japanese companies.
