Medan, June 18, 2025 – The Public Sector Accounting D4 Study Program, Faculty of Vocational Studies, University of North Sumatra held an official identity launch for the Study Program in the form of a logo, uniform design, slogan, and tagline.
The event was officially opened with remarks by the Head of the Public Sector Accounting D4 Study Program, Mr. Sambas Ade Kesuma, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., Ak., CA, who said that this launch was the first step in building identity and a spirit of togetherness for the entire academic community.
"Through the slogan Be Smart, we want to create graduates who are not only academically intelligent, but also superior in character and ready to face the challenges of the public sector," he said.

The Public Sector Accounting D4 Study Program logo also contains a strong philosophical meaning through the choice of colors. The tosca green color symbolizes the spirit of modernity, dynamic character, and readiness to face the era of digital technology. This color also represents a fresh and professional impression. Meanwhile, the titanium color reflects innovative values, the spirit of digital collaboration and connectivity with industry, which are important parts of the direction of study program development.

The Be Smart slogan is reinforced with the SMART tagline, which consists of:
• S – Skilled: Technically and practically skilled in the field of public sector accounting.
• M – Mindful: Sensitive to ethics, social issues, and sustainability.
• A – Agile: Adaptive to technological and regulatory developments.
• R – Ready: Ready to work and ready to contribute since graduating.
• T – Trusted: Trustworthy because of their integrity and professionalism.
The event, which took place in the Hall of the Faculty of Vocational Studies, was hosted by Mrs. Yunita Sarah Siregar, S.E., M.Si as the MC, and was attended by the Education Staff of the Public Sector Accounting D4 Study Program, Mrs. Nurul Juliani, S.Si and students from the Public Sector Accounting D4 Study Program.
With the spirit of Be Smart, the Public Sector Accounting D4 Study Program continues to be committed to producing graduates who are professional, adaptive, and ready to compete in the world of work, especially in the public sector.
