USU Award Night 2025 Faculty of Vocational Education
Medan, December 09, 2025 - Universitas Sumatera Utara once again held the USU Awards 2025, an annual appreciation event presented to students, study programs, and members of the academic community who have achieved outstanding accomplishments at the local, national, and international levels. This year, the spirit of Honoring Excellence, Inspiring Impact was strongly felt through the various remarkable achievements attained by students of the Faculty of Vocational Education.
The Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., in his remarks expressed high appreciation to all students and study programs that have achieved notable accomplishments. He stated: “USU Awards is not merely an award ceremony, but also a reflection of the hard work, commitment, and dedication of the entire academic community. The achievements attained this year demonstrate that USU students are able to compete at various levels, while also proving the active role of the university in producing a superior and competitive young generation. I hope that these achievements will motivate all students to continue creating and generating positive impacts for society and the nation.”
One of the proud achievements came from the Diploma Program in Metrology and Instrumentation of the Faculty of Vocational Education, which successfully won 2nd Place in the Category of Highest Participation in the Plug and Play Program. This award serves as tangible evidence that the study program continues to encourage its students to actively develop themselves through programs, training, and competency enhancement activities.
In addition to this achievement, a number of students from the Faculty of Vocational Education also brought honor to USU through outstanding accomplishments in various competitions. The following are some of the achievements attained:
