Medan, February 10, 2026 – The Faculty of Vocational Education, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), conducted the Graduation Ceremony for Diploma Education Program Graduates, Period II Academic Year 2025/2026 on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The event took place at the 2nd Floor Hall of the USU Student Center and was attended by faculty leaders, heads and secretaries of study programs, educational staff, and 22 graduation participants.
The event began with the singing of the Indonesian National Anthem, Indonesia Raya, followed by the official opening of the graduation ceremony by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Vocational Education, Prof. Dr. Isfenti Sadalia, S.E., M.E., who conveyed her congratulations to all graduates for their academic achievements. In her remarks, she emphasized that the graduation ceremony not only marks the end of the study period but also the beginning of a new journey for graduates to contribute to the workforce or to continue their education to a higher level. She also expressed her hope that graduates would uphold the good name of their alma mater and continue to develop their competencies in an increasingly competitive era. The graduation procession proceeded solemnly with the reading of the Graduation Decree and the symbolic conferment of graduation insignia.
The graduation ceremony was officially closed by the Dean, marking the conclusion of the entire series of events. Through the implementation of this graduation ceremony, the USU Faculty of Vocational Education hopes that all graduates will be able to apply the knowledge they have gained and become professional individuals who contribute positively to society.
Subsequently, the Acting Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Vocational Education, Dr. Solahuddin Nasution, S.E., M.SP., read the Graduation Decree for the Diploma Education Program Graduates, Period II Academic Year 2025/2026, prior to the calling of graduates. The graduates who were conferred degrees came from seven study programs, with the following details:
Diploma (D3) Study Program in Pharmaceutical and Food Analysis: 3 graduates
Diploma (D3) Study Program in English: 1 graduate
Diploma (D3) Study Program in Secretarial Studies: 6 graduates
Diploma (D3) Study Program in Metrology and Instrumentation: 2 graduates
Diploma (D3) Study Program in Taxation: 5 graduates
Diploma (D3) Study Program in Library Science: 2 graduates
Diploma (D3) Study Program in Informatics Engineering: 3 graduates
The graduation ceremony was officially closed by the Dean, marking the conclusion of the entire series of activities. Through the implementation of this graduation ceremony, the USU Faculty of Vocational Education hopes that all graduates will be able to apply the knowledge they have acquired and become professional individuals who contribute positively to society.
