The Head, Secretary, and lecturers of the Diploma Program within the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FIB USU), conducted a work visit to the Vocational Education Program at Universitas Indonesia (UI). The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dyah Safitri, S.IPI., M.Hum., Secretary of the Vocational Education Program at UI, along with key leadership, including Deputy Director for Education, Research, and Student Affairs, Deni Danial Kesa, MBA., Ph.D., Deputy Director for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration, Priyanto, S.S., M.Hum., Head of Public Relations and Cooperation, Melisa Bunga Altamira, S.Sos., M.Si., Head of Data and Information Center, Niko Grataridarga, S.Hum., M.Hum., Head of Vocational Institutions, Dr. Diaz Pranita, M.M., and Head of the Records and Archives Management Study Program, Wiwiet Mardiati, S.S., M.IM.
The meeting began with a warm and enthusiastic reception from UI’s vocational program representatives. The D-3 team from FIB USU also expressed their objectives for the work visit, as conveyed by Drs. Parlindungan, M.Hum., who served as the moderator. Drs. Gustanto, M.Hum., who elaborated on the specific goals of the visit. During the Focus Group Discussion (FGD), the FIB USU team expressed their interest in collaborating to support the Tridharma of higher education. FIB USU has submitted a draft of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and Implementation Arrangement (IA), which the Vocational Education Program at UI will evaluate.
After the visit, the D-3 team from FIB USU presented a token of appreciation through a plaque and ulos, symbolizing their gratitude. Similarly, UI’s Vocational Education Program gave tokens of appreciation and goody bags, showcasing their program’s unique characteristics.
