The Diploma Program in Library Science at the Faculty of Vocational Education, USU, held a workshop on the application of library automation using the SLiMS application on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Faculty of Vocational Education Auditorium. The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Drs. Muhammad Husni Thamrin, M.Si, and the Head and Secretary of the Diploma Program in Library Science attended the event.
The workshop was participated by students and faculty members of the Diploma Program in Library Science, with Mr. Mas Irwansyah Putra, S.Sos, a librarian specializing in IT at the University of Sumatera Utara Library, serving as the speaker. The workshop aimed to enhance participants' skills in using and applying the SLiMS software for web-based library management.
The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Vocational Education presented a token of appreciation to the speaker, accompanied by the Head of the Diploma Program in Library Science, USU.
