The Tax Corner Service was held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in the Hall Building of the Faculty of Vocational Studies located on Jl. Biotechnology No. 2, Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia 20155. This service was initiated by the Medan Polonia Primary Tax Office, along with staff and tax volunteers who are students who have gone through several selection processes, to educate the public or taxpayers in carrying out taxpayer reporting.
This service is used to assist Education Personnel and the surrounding community in conducting electronic filing (e-filing) of personal taxpayer notification letters (SPT). Electronic filing or e-filing is the process of sending tax documents electronically to a tax authority, such as the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) in Indonesia, using a computer system and the Internet. It allows taxpayers to submit their tax reports quickly, efficiently, and securely without having to fill out paper forms manually. This process is generally faster and easier than conventional tax report submission methods.
In this sophisticated era, people are required to understand how to report their taxes through e-filing, for people who are still blind to technology, of course, in filling out the e-filing will be guided and assisted by KPP Pratama staff directly, and tax volunteers in stages to avoid queues, so that it is faster and cheaper to obtain a convenience in using e-filing. Minimizing the use of paper and filling is more effective and efficient, and it provides easier internet access for us to use anywhere and anytime. So, in the future, taxpayers will no longer report their taxes manually or come to the annual tax return payment counter but through the e-filing application.
